The filter drier is designed to keep the system clean and clear of debris and moisture and should be changed any time the A/C system is opened for service. This E30 filter drier is designed for 325e/i models up to 09/89 (as well as all US M3s) and uses the early high-pressure switch. For late model applications, use this filter drier.
