The filter drier is designed to keep the system clean and clear of debris and moisture and should be changed any time the A/C system is opened for service. This E30 filter drier is designed for post 09/89 325e/i models (as well as all euro M3s) and uses the early high-pressure switch (here). For early model applications, use this link.
